7 Days of Positivity

Sharing my 7 Days of Positivity. I posted these inspiring messages on my Facebook wall from March 10 up to 16. I thank God for good feedbacks; some of my friends even sent me a message of how they were encouraged by these everyday posts. All glory to God! So friends, let's choose good words rather than senseless stuffs, be a blessing... we'll never know who could be touched by our simple online posts :)

Day 1: Have the attitude of gratitude.

"Napansin mong di marunong magsabi THANK YOU ang friend mo. Anong sasabihin mo sa kanya?" (Q via ROAD TRIP)

You're Welcome! then mag-smile"

Tip naman ni Pastor Ru dela torre
(1) Model it (be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity [1Tim 4:12])
(2) Speak to him/her life in love (if open rebuke is better than secret love [Prov.27:5] then teach him/her the importance of giving thanks to the Lord and of counting our blessings [Lk 17:17-18])

Day 2: DREAM GREAT dreams and RENEW the old ones

words from Holley Maher's I Do song

Francis Kong quoted,

Whether it’s business or ministries; none can become great without dreamers.

The successful people are those who dare to dream great dreams and persistently set their eyes on the goal.

But dreamers make their dreams come true when there is faith and courage. And these 2 indispensable qualities are provided for when there is a life partner who gives her full support. (from Dream Great Dreams)

Dreams are renewable. They need not expire like an over-due library book.

No matter our age, we can breathe new life into old dreams. I believe that the best age is the age you are, but something even better awaits just ahead for those with the courage to dream and to act.

Are you renewing your dreams?

Feeling old?

Age is something that doesn't matter unless you are cheese.

It’s not how old you are, but how you are old.

from Are You Renewing Your Dreams?)

Day 3: Have faith in Jesus, your storm will soon pass away.

John Bevere quoted from his Relentless book,
"God will never lead us into a storm that He doesn't give us the power to overcome."

We must remember what Jesus did on Mark 4:35-41 (NLV) - when the wind and waves Obey Jesus.

[ It was evening of that same day. Jesus said to them, “Let us go over to the other side.” After sending the people away, they took Jesus with them in a boat. It was the same boat He used when He taught them. Other little boats went along with them.

A bad wind storm came up. The waves were coming over the side of the boat. It was filling up with water. Jesus was in the back part of the boat sleeping on a pillow. They woke Him up, crying out, “Teacher, do You not care that we are about to die?”

He got up and spoke sharp words to the wind. He said to the sea, “Be quiet! Be still.” At once the wind stopped blowing. There were no more waves.

He said to His followers, “Why are you so full of fear? Do you not have faith?”

They were very much afraid and said to each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and waves obey Him!” ]

Day 4: Have Integrity

Whatever work you do, do it with all your heart. Do it for the Lord and not for men. (Colossians 3:23)

He that is faithful with little things is faithful with big things also. He that is not honest with little things is not honest with big things. (Luke 16:10)

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. (Proverbs 10:9)

The Lord will pay each man for being right and good and faithful. (1 Samuel 26:23)

Sabi nga ni Pastor David Sumrall ng Cathedral of Praise, "Live by your ethics... Integrity with protect you."

Day 5: Spend quality time with your family

Ito yung priceless! Di kailangang i-explain.

Day 6: Pray more

Spend time with God through prayers. Then hear Him through His Word.

"When we pray, we open the door for God to come into our problems and situations and work on them." ~Joyce Meyer

Day 7: Walk by faith and not by sight

The hardest in our faith is the WAITING TIME.
but...
Remember that God is ALWAYS WITH US "since" the time He "called" us. (Ptra. Terry Broqueza quoted in her preaching.)

My faith was really tested and just like a clay - the Potter made me into another pot that pleases Him. I struggled a lot but I learned so much. Now I understand what humility is and how to surrender my all to the Him.

Moses spoke: "Be strong and have strength of heart. Do not be afraid or shake with fear because of them. For the Lord your God is the One Who goes with you. He will be faithful to you. He will not leave you alone." (Deuteronomy 31:6)

It's not easy to let go and let God nor do the walking by faith while your eyes are closed but if you're confident that the Lord is with you... it'd be like the person who's walking by the seashore who thought Jesus had left her/him; realizing then that the Lord had carried him/her all the way.

Our powerful God can change our lives "suddenly" but sometimes His will is for our transformation to take time: slowly but surely.
