Jesus Freak: SAVED Festival 2011

Coool! The event will be held on November 26, 2011, Saturday, at the Araneta Coliseum in Metro Manila. Worship starts on time at 6PM.

Woohoo I am excited! More and more bands will be joining the said event which will also be announced via Saved Newsmagazine website. So keep posted! Like Saved Newsmagazine at Facebook and follow via their Tumblr account for their HOURLY UPDATE TO SEE WHICH ARTISTS WILL BE AT THE FESTIVAL!

Hmm will Hillsong United be included? I also want Jars of Clay, Barlow Girl, Casting Crowns, Desperation band, Planetshakers (again), Brooke Fraser (since her August 2011 concert in the Philippines was cancelled) and maybe Sixpence None the Richer (eeer I know, they’re already disbanded a long time ago, wishful thinking!). While from our local performers, Kitchie Nadal, Barbie Almalbis and Gary Valenciano of course, Rise Up, Papuri? Hmm I am really not familiar with other local Christian bands, I am sorry. But I know some from who performed at Word of Hope Church for Youth Alive sessions like Poetic Saints (I remember they’re vocalist - Ashley was really funny and a great artist) then Orange band (with Kuya Mike, our tribe’s counselor during our youth camp in 2002).

Well, SAVED FESTIVAL 2011 is going to rally local churches in the Philippines to rise up to the true calling of a SAVED life in Jesus Christ, who is worthy of all glory and honor and praise!

I hope many more Filipino Christians will support this event. Let’s declare God’s victory! May more unbelievers know Jesus and make Him their Savior and priority. Don’t be afraid to be called a Jesus freak!
